Seared Ahi Tuna Recipe

A delicious sushi-style recipe made in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients for  Ahi Tuna Steaks

soy sauce

toasted sesame oil

Step 2: Sear Ahi Tuna

Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet and place the steaks in the pan, leaving plenty of space for optimal searing.

Cooking Ahi Tuna

Sear for 3 minutes on each side. Leave tuna steaks undisturbed while searing!

Step 3: Allow Tuna Steaks to Rest

Remove the steaks from the pan and allow them to rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Serve Ahi Tuna Steaks

Slice against the grain with a serrated knife. Serve with white rice or a fresh salad!
